Hyperpigmentation is a disorder characterized by dark color areas on the skin.
The exact causes can be divided into two groups: external and internal.
External causes can be those coming from the environment, such as exposure to the sun’s rays, or to chemical compounds (betaxolol, minocycline, estrogen, progesterone, and so on).
Internal causes are related to heritage – people of darker skin are more prone to developing this disorder.
Natural cure for hyperpigmentation – recipe:
- Take 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Mix well
- Apply to the affected area
- Leave on for 15 minutes to dry
- Rinse with cold water
Application before a shower is recommended.
Repeat once or twice every day until you get visible improvements.
This simple remedy really works, and it is based on the principles of Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of healing.
Lemon bleaches and encourages skin peeling, and turmeric, besides greatly brightening the skin (and the Indians know it well), it also acts anti-inflammatory and makes the skin glow.
Individuals with very sensitive skin may dilute the lemon juice or substitute it with milk.
