It seems that the most important discovery in human history occurred indirectly. This was the case with Ernest Krebs. This is a biochemist who in the early 1950s tried to find out what cancer cells do and how they are treated.
Krebs claimed that cancer is eventually a metabolic reaction to a poor diet, and began examining the habits of Hunzas nation that is hidden away from civilization in the vicinity of northern Pakistan.
He stated that they lived in almost perfect harmony of their body and mind, enjoy outstanding health, both physically and mentally.
Moreover, he even said that some of these people have lived more than 135 years.
Another feature of their unique way of life was the fact that they consumed large amounts of apricot seeds.
Krebs became interested in this property, and started researching. Eventually, he discovered compound, amygdalin, which is responsible for the elimination of tumors.
Amygdalin is found in over 1200 edible plants in nature, but in the apricot seed, it is present in the highest concentration.
Amygdalin is nitriloside and its structure is most likely as one of the B complex vitamins, so that’s why Krebs called it B17.
Moreover, amygdalin in apricot kernels and laetrile has four powerful components: two of which are benzaldehyde and cyanide.
Indeed, cyanide forms the core of apricot even stronger in the case of cancer, such as breast cancer.
Also, cyanide can be found in healthy food, including bitter almonds, millet, sprouts, lima beans, spinach and bamboo shoots.
So, it would be good to eat apricot seeds from time to time, and sick people should eat them every day.
